The group of finance ministers and central bankers gathered this week in Banff, Alta., ahead of the G7 leaders' summit set for next month in nearby Kananaskis.

Tariffs are an expected topic of discussion at a meeting of the top U.S. and Canadian finance advisers late Wednesday at the G7 gathering in Canada's Alberta province.
