President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order to keep TikTok running in the U.S. for another 90 days to give his administration more time to broker a deal to bring the social media platform under American ownership.

President Trump has once again extended the deadline for banning TikTok, giving ByteDance more time to avoid a U.S. shutdown.

The White House says the president will grant another reprieve after two earlier orders that directed the Justice Department not to enforce a U.S. ban on the social-media app.
