Google, Ahead and Pixel
Digest more
There have been plenty of leaks about the Pixel 10 series over the past few weeks, from official renders to software features, giving us a solid idea of what to expect on August 20, 2025. However, this year feels different. Here are five reasons why I'm genuinely excited about a Google Pixel flagship, even though not much is set to change.
Though we already have a fairly good idea of what Google plans to announce on Aug. 20, there are a few things I want on the agenda, starting with a smartphone that can take a beating.
You can visit the Pixel 10's Google Store page now, which shows an image of the back of the standard Pixel 10 phone. There's also a button there to sign up for emails to receive an "exclusive offer" for new subscribers, offering a single-use discount for an eligible device from August 20 - September 4 when buying the phone via the Google Store.
Google could've solved this trust issue by being more transparent instead of trying to sweep it all under the rug.

The Google Pixel 10 could come with 60W charging – and I hope Apple and Samsung are taking notes
The Google Pixel 10 series is rumored to get much improved charging speeds thanks to a newly increased 60W power draw across all four models – here’s hoping Apple and Samsung are taking notes.
This latest leak aligns with another leak we saw last month, which showed the Pixel 10 what appears to be a wireless charging puck. As shown by NieuweMobiel, the new Pixel 10 cases could come in blue, black, green, and light blue, while the Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL could have gray, green, and white options.
The EU durability and energy efficiency ratings for the Pixel 10 series have been released. The Pixel 10 Pro appears to be the most energy-efficient out of the bunch. All three models received an “A” grade for durability.
