Enter the Miami Heat, who Anthony Slater of The Athletic reported has shown "legitimate interest" in the power forward. The team is looking to restock the proverbial cabinet after, ironically enough, trading Butler to Golden State and Kuminga would fill a need.

Miami would be interesting. Bringing back Andrew Wiggins, who was vital to the 2022 championship and thrived in the very role Kuminga doesn't want to play, would put Golden State closer to the top tier of contention. White, however, is the guy who would put them over the top.

Jonathan Kuminga and the Golden State Warriors are locked in an ideological game of chicken about his future with the team, and it doesn’t look like the young player has any plans of backing down.
