The robot is based on a two-wheeled design with tank-style steering. Controlled by an Arduino Uno, the robot uses a Slamtec RPLIDAR sensor to help map out its surroundings.

Turf Tank — inventor of an autonomous, GPS-guided line marking robot, built and designed specifically for painting athletic fields — has released the Turf Tank Two.

This mobile device can paint athletic fields, like football, baseball and soccer. The GPS-guided robot paints lines, letters and numbers in about 3.5 hours.

A GPS-guided robot has been purchased to help maintenance teams mark lines on sports pitches in Guernsey. States Works has bought the device to help its ground maintenance work.
