The Texas Department of Transportation is planning for two major closures on Loop 1604 at both the Interstate 10 and Highway 281 interchanges this weekend.

Loop 1604 at the Interstate 10 interchange will be closed this weekend as part of TxDOT's Loop 1604 North Expansion plan.

The Loop 1604 North Expansion Project will ramp back up over the weekend. Drivers will want to plan their commute ahead of time.

The Arizona Department of Transportation urged drivers to allow for extra travel time and to use detours due to closures.

Loop 101 will experience closures in both directions between Tatum Boulevard and 64th Street for utility services, according to ADOT.
