This guide explains how to insert data in MySQL database using PHP. We will see how to insert single and multiple records in a MySQL table.

The above program will create a table employees with field id,firstname,lastname,email and reg_date in the demo database. You will get the message Table employees created successfully on success.

Heads Up: In XAMPP, the database and table names are case insensitive. It will consider upper/lower case as lowercase only. If you haven't created a database and table, refer the following guide.
