Google launched its latest sustainability tool, a series of environmental geospatial APIs that help cities, businesses, and other partners map solar, air quality, and pollen data worldwide.

Google Trends API announced at Search Central Live APAC 2025, opening up to Alpha registration in the coming hours. The API will include consistenly scaled volume data, which is akin to Search Volume.

Overture Maps was originally announced in late 2022, with Google’s biggest competitors on board. Meta, Microsoft, Amazon, TomTom and more mapping specialists have teamed up to create the project.

Google, in an attempt to help people account for this airborne inconvenience when embarking on outings and making travel plans, has added a tool called Pollen API to its Maps platform.

Google’s recent video isn’t a technical guide. It’s a quick intro to the four different Search Console API methods, with examples of which data can be exported through each.
