A new campaign for Computer Science Education Week is attempting to get 10 million K-12 students to spend an hour learning how to code.

In addition to Hour of Code, students are learning with Minecraft: Education Edition, a version of the game for classroom use that includes a special feature on coding.

The Hour of Code helps students connect coding with real-world challenges and career possibilities as they explore computer science.

Hour of Code Events — Send your student to an Hour of Code event by finding one in your neighborhood; nonstudents can participate too with special Hour of Code events in their communities.
