Unlike other Google smart home products, the Next x Yale Lock doesn't have a built-in Wi-Fi module, so it can't connect to Wi-Fi on its own. Instead, it uses Nest Connect to go online.

With Google Home, you can access your Nest Thermostat to connect it to Wi-Fi, control the temperature, set routines, and more. The Google Home app is available on Android phones and iPhones.

Choose a home for the speaker and then wait for the app to find it. Tap Connect to establish a connection to the speaker. Follow the setup prompts to continue. Press Yes > I agree > Yes, I'm in.
