Robust Open Online Safety Tools (ROOST) is a new organization founded by Roblox, Discord, Google and OpenAI to build open-source online safety tools.

Gaming platform Roblox has announced new safety tools which will allow parents to block people from their child's friend list, as well as block individual experiences on the popular site.

Roblox, which reports more than 111 million monthly active users, says the AI has already helped flag hundreds of potential child exploitation cases to law enforcement.
