South Korean builder Hyundai Egineering & Construction Co. <000720.KS> said on Wednesday it had won a $711 million subcontract for a power plant in Kuwait from Japan's Mitsui & Co. <8031.T>.

South Korea's Lotte Chemical said on Wednesday its Hyundai Chemical joint venture with Hyundai Oilbank will build a new petrochemical plant worth 2.7 trillion Korean won ($2.5 billion).
