Object-Oriented Python and Java are both considered to be “ object-oriented ” programming languages. This means they allow developers to create data objects through classes.

The survey found that Python is more popular than Java overall. A total of 52% reported using Python this year, compared to 49% who said they used Java. Last year it was 55% to Java and 54% to Python.

When you compare Java vs. Python application development in terms of simplicity, conciseness, security and performance, Java comes out on top in every category.
