The Java Platform Module System (JPMS) is a code-level structure, so it doesn’t change the fact that we package Java into JAR files. Ultimately, everything is still bundled together in JAR files.

As the last release of the Spring Boot 2 line, Spring Boot 2.7 has 1.5 years of free support. But the one year of support for Spring Boot 3 is more in line with other recent Spring Boot releases.
