The Navy will not accept new recruits this week at its boot camp in Great Lakes, Illinois, after one recruit tested positive for COVID-19.

Despite meeting its recruiting goal of 40,600 sailors, the Navy will fall 5,000 short of its boot camp target due to last-minute enlistments.
