Andy Byron, who has found himself at the center of a social media firestorm over a Coldplay concert video, was the CEO of a tech company named Astronomer. On July 19, the company announced that Byron has resigned in the wake of the scandal.

Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy is currently serving as interim CEO,” a rep for Astronomer told Page Six late Friday night.

Pete DeJoy, who was named interim CEO of Astronomer over the weekend, made his first public comments about his new gig in a post on Monday.
