Instagram is adding a Snapchat-like map to see friends' locations and adding the option to repost in feed.

The new opt-in tool lets users see friends’ real-time locations, explore creator-recommended spots, and leave notes on a shared map.

Instagram just announced an update with some long-requested features. The most notable is the introduction of a location-sharing tool for friends. Once opted into, the map shares a user's last active location with chosen contacts.
