The new Cadillac F1 team officially announced its arrival at a glitzy South Beach extravaganza over the weekend ahead of the Miami Grand Prix.

Rain, racing, celebrities, even Lego Formula 1 car replicas (that actually ran) all made their appearances Sunday at the Miami International Autodrome before McLaren dominated the day on the track.

Cadillac, the team that will enter Formula 1 in 2026, made a grand brand launch during the Grand Prix weekend in Miami. This marks just the beginning of the journey to the F1 grid for the new American team,

The win marks Piastri's fourth of the season after he picked up wins at the Heineken Chinese Grand Prix in March and the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix and SRC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in April. The 24-year-old Australian has now doubled his win total from a year ago.

Max Verstappen celebrated the birth of his first child with a pole-winning run at the Miami Grand Prix. The four-time defending Formula 1 champion edged Lando Norris of McLaren by .065 seconds to take the top starting spot for Sunday’s race.
