ESPN’s Adam Schefer reported on Friday afternoon that Jefferson had suffered an injury during camp and was expected to miss some time. “Vikings HC Kevin O’Connell has announced WR Justin Jefferson has a mild hamstring strain and will be held out of practice,” Schefter wrote on X. “Jefferson will be re-evaluated next week.”
The Minnesota Vikings had an incredible 14-3 regular season last year, which came down to a Week 18 clash with the Detroit Lions for the NFC North crown, the conference's top seed and a first-round bye.
Tyreek Hill jokes about his kids calling Justin Jefferson their “dad,” but says their playful banter keeps him motivated.
