NEW YORK – Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards has been fined $50,000 for using profane language during a media interview, it was announced today by Byron Spruell, President, League Operations.
Edwards hit only five of those shot attempts and scored an anemic 18 points. As a team, Minnesota shot a frigid 34.9% from the field and committed 19 turnovers, and it didn't score a single fast-break point in all of Game 1.
