More recalls have been announced due to a Salmonella outbreak linked to cucumbers. The products affected include whole cucumbers, cucumber salads, sushi and more. Walmart, Kroger, Food Lion and more retailers are impacted by these recalls.

A salmonella outbreak in cucumbers prompted Big Y Foods to voluntarily recall made-to-order deli sandwiches sold in some Connecticut stores, the company says.

Pennrose Farms is recalling five pound mesh bags of whole cucumbers sent to restaurant distribution centers in five states, including Georgia.

As people get ready for their backyard cookouts this weekend, there's a recall alert from Giant. The supermarket is recalling store-brand salsa because it could have salmonella. The recall includes Giant's or Martin's brand hot salsa and mild salsa in 16-ounce containers.

"Upon returning the product to your local Big Y or with the proof of purchase (if the product was discarded), you will receive a full refund," the grocery store said in a statement.

These sandwiches — sold between Tuesday and Wednesday — might be contaminated with salmonella, the company said Thursday.

The Food and Drug Administration announced the recall of cucumbers because of possible Salmonella contamination. Bedner Growers, Inc. of Boynton Beach, Florida voluntarily recalled the cucumbers which were sold at three markets in Florida and to a wholesale distributor.

The Federal Drug Administration announced two different tomato recalls affecting 14 states for the possible contamination of Salmonella.
