The Sugar Bowl takes place on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2025, at 8:45 PM ET. It will air live from Louisiana on ESPN, and stream via Hulu, YouTube TV, and more.

Previous to Allstate, the Sugar Bowl has also been sponsored by Nokia (1996–2006) and USF&G Financial Services (1988–1995). For broadcasting, ESPN holds the rights to air the Sugar Bowl.

The Sugar Bowl scheduled for New Year's Day at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome at 8:45 p.m. ET has reportedly been postponed following the attack and tragedy in New Orleans on Wednesday morning.
