Gov. Greg Abbott decided to veto a proposed ban on THC products in Texas, in the dead of night on Sunday, everyone in the state knew Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick wouldn't be happy. And it didn't take him long to show it.

Thousands sent letters saying better regulation of THC products was needed, but a ban would shut down over 8,000 businesses.

I’m not having a bad day,” Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said after the governor, a fellow Republican, vetoed the bill. “Texas is having a bad day.”
