太陽光発電システム向けインバーターの有力企業である独SMAソーラーはこのほど、米国市場で販売する大型製品「MVPS」の最終組み立てを現地で実施すると発表した。物流上のメリットがあるほか、インフレ抑制法（IRA）などに基づく助成を受けるために必要と説明している。広報担当者は『フランクフルター・アルゲマイネ』紙の問い合わせに、米国と欧州連合（EU）の通商摩擦を踏まえた措置でもあることを明らかにした。
