The Parisians went ahead only 27 minutes into the match after a rocket of a shot from Fabian Ruiz following a set piece that Arsenal couldn't clear.

Gianluigi Donnarumma put in a colossal performance in goal and Paris Saint-Germain scored two sensational goals to beat Arsenal 2-1 on the night, 3-1 on aggregate, to set up a showdown in the Champions League final against Inter Milan.

In the newly enlarged Champions League, in a marathon campaign that has taken in eight group games, and six knock-out matches from September to May, it came down to this for Arsenal.
