Former President Bill Clinton endorsed former Gov. Andrew Cuomo for New York City Mayor two days before the primary election. Cuomo is campaigning in his first election that will be determined by ranked choice voting.

Turnout has already been brisk, with more than 400,000 early votes cast ahead of Primary Day. As temperatures soar past 100°F, the mood at polling stations across the city remains intense but orderly.
