Last season’s fourth-placed finish in Eliteserien was enough to put them in the Second Round of the Conference League qualifiers. After two-legged victories over Lithuanian cup winners Banga (7-0) and Hammarby IF (1-0), Rosenborg are now one tie away from reaching the league phase of this tournament for the first time.

Conference USA will be the latest league to implement player availability reports, it was announced on Wednesday afternoon.

UEFA's rules state: "A player who has been fielded in the first, second or third qualifying round, or in the play-offs of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League or UEFA Conference League, is entitled to play in the Champions League, Europa League or Conference League for another club as from the league phase."

UEFA will hold the Champions League group stage draw on August 28 in Monaco, as confirmed in a statement. The top competition will feature 36 teams divided into four pots according to their coefficient. Each club will know their rivals and the matches will be announced before August 30.
