The 76-year-old actor was found guilty by the Paris Criminal Court of two sexual assaults during the filming of Jean Becker's movie Les Volets Verts in 2021. His lawyer, Jérémie Assous, has announced that Depardieu will appeal the decision.

Judges at the Paris Criminal Court are expected to deliver their verdict on Tuesday in the sexual assault trial of the French cinema icon Gérard Depardieu.
