Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh opened training camp by telling reporters that quarterback Justin Herbert's biggest weaknesses are those comprising his supporting cast.

Hours after losing wideout Mike Williams to retirement, the Los Angeles Chargers have managed to sign the contract for a player that will be key for Justin Herbert and Jim Harbaugh's plan.

Herbert looked in midseason form on the first day of training camp Thursday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports. Herbert's highlights Thursday included a 50-yard touchdown pass to Jalen Reagor and a sharp performance in red-zone drills.
