LONDON (AP) — Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been named Premier League player of the season for a second time. The Egypt international joins Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidic and Kevin De Bruyne in the two-time winner category. No player has won the award three times.

Mohamed Salah has been named the Premier League‘s Player of the Season for the 2024–25 campaign. There may have been an eight-man shortlist for the award, but in truth, there was only ever going to be one winner. Salah, the winner from 2017–18 as well, has racked up 28 goals and 18 assists to date, leading the Premier League in both ranks.

Mohamed Salah has been named the Premier League Player of the Year after scoring 28 goals as Liverpool clinched a second Premier League title. He becomes just the fifth player to win the award on multiple occasions, following Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kevin De Bruyne, and Nemanja Vidic.
