The Stanley Cup Playoffs saw some riveting action throughout the first round. Two of the Western Conference series went the full seven games. The Dallas Stars and Winnipeg Jets ultimately moved onto the next round despite both looking dead in the water late in Game 7.

Stanley Cup Playoffs are through one round, with many of the best teams still left in the bracket. With the second round set to begin, it's time to look back on the simulation that NHL 25 did before the postseason started.

Best bets: The Maple Leafs had some demons to exorcise in Round 1, and while it was touch and go for a few moments, they got there in the end. The Panthers won the season series 3-1, but this series should be about as good as we've come to expect ... and the difference is going to come in the margins.
