Previous to Allstate, the Sugar Bowl has also been sponsored by Nokia (1996–2006) and USF&G Financial Services (1988–1995). For broadcasting, ESPN holds the rights to air the Sugar Bowl.

The 91st annual Sugar Bowl was originally scheduled for Wednesday in New Orleans at the Caesars Superdome. The game will now take place on Thursday with kickoff at 3 p.m. CST.

The Sugar Bowl takes place on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2025, at 8:45 PM ET. It will air live from Louisiana on ESPN, and stream via Hulu, YouTube TV, and more.

The Sugar Bowl is held annually at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Superdome, one of the most recognizable stadiums in the world, has hosted the Sugar Bowl since 1975.
