The agreements include moving pharmacy assets from more than 1,000 Rite Aid locations across the U.S. to operators that include CVS Pharmacy, Walgreens, Albertsons, Kroger, Giant Eagle and others.

Rite Aid said on May 5 that it had filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy for the second time in two years and said it would seek to sell most of its assets.
