Luckily for Dallas, however, reinforcements are on the way to face the Winnipeg Jets in the form of the expected returns by two of its top stars — forward Jason Robertson and defenseman Miro Heiskanen. Both skated with the team as the Stars practiced Tuesday before heading to Winnipeg for Game 1.

"He's close," Stars coach Peter DeBoer told reporters, according to Brien Rea of FanDuel Sports Network Southwest. "We'll see tomorrow morning." Robertson played in all 82 games during the regular season and finished second on the team in scoring with 80 points (35 goals and 45 assists).

DALLAS – Jason Robertson and Miro Heiskanen, who each missed the entire Western Conference First Round for the Dallas Stars, are expected to return from injury in the second round, though coach Pete DeBoer is not certain when that will be.
