After cutting the cord on some of Disney’s most recognizable entertainment-focused cable networks, Charter is sparking a new connection. The cable giant and Disney have forged a new distribution deal that brings ad-supported Hulu to all of Charter’s Spectrum TV Select customers with no extra costs.

Disney and Charter have struck an expanded carriage deal, adding Hulu’s ad-supported tier to Spectrum TV Select plans along with eight cable networks dropped in a 2023 dispute. The companies’ battle nearly two years ago,

The companies announced Thursday an “expanded distribution agreement” that will give Spectrum TV Select customers the ad-supported version of streaming platform Hulu and eight linear TV channels: Disney Jr., Disney XD, Freeform, FXX, FXM, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Mundo and BabyTV. They will be added at no additional cost for subscribers.
