Chris Bryant told a debate on Pride month that political parties were crucial to the rights given to LGBT+ people in the UK.

The figure is in line with the demands of President Donald Trump, who has called for Nato allies to shoulder more of the burden of European defence.

Closing arguments are tentatively scheduled for Thursday after what was expected to be a brief defence presentation.
