Suspect Jeremiah Kemp was captured after a manhunt for shooting two Southgate, MI police officers, who are now stable. Authorities seek the missing weapon used.

Southgate police say they have safely taken the suspect in the shootings of two officers into custody. The officers were both shot in leg and are expected to recover.

Police were reportedly processing evidence on Friday and would seek charges against Jeremiah Christian Kemp in the next few days.
